L Family Sneak Peek - Lexington Family Photographer

We have been sick over here at the Tatem house. I took Breck to the doctor and it turned out he had a double ear infection and a double eye infection! Poor guy - I hate seeing him feel bad. Then I started getting sick! I think you officially feel like a mom when you are sick and have to take care of a sick kid at the same time! We are both feeling much better now!
I finally finished editing the pics from my family session last week! How cute are these kids!? I just loved the little ones hair! Big brown curls!! Big brother was so sweet and loved having his picture taken!

Little Explorer - Lexington, Ky Family Photography

This guy was on the move! Only 15 months old, but as fast as a 2 year old! He was all boy and was climbing all over the place. I just love the little expressions I caught though when he slowed down and looked at me. When I was editing these, I kept starring at his cute little lips and dimples! Adorable!

A & G - I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Adorable! Spring Mini Session - Lexington Baby & Family Photographer

I had such a fun time with this mini session family! Dad thinks this little guy is the next Gerber baby and I have to agree! Isn’t he adorable!? I came home and told my husband that he I wanted to steal him and take him home with me, he was so cute!

This was the last session of the mini sessions. By this time, the sun had dropped some and made for the most gorgeous light. I am kind of obsessed with finding the best light. Anyone who has had a session with me will know this! I probably annoyed the heck out of this family because I kept talking about the light! They were great though and didn’t even look at me funny when I suggested sticking their baby in a giant ivy bush!

Cori and TJ,
I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! I really enjoyed meeting you all so much! My favorite part of the shoot was hearing that you all ALSO know all the words to Chuggington and Agent Oso!!

Happy! Another Mini Session - Lexington Children's Photographer

I have yet to see this little one upset! She is always happy when I see her. My jaw dropped when the Mom told me she had not even had a nap all day! I would have never known! My 2 year old would be a MESS without a nap!!
Her big brother has such a sweet personality! He is a typical boy though... all I had to do was make a "toot" noise and he cracked up!

I hope you enjoy these photos Brooke!

Gorgeous Girls! Mini Session Sneak Peek - Lexington Children & Family Photographer

You are from another planet if you don’t think these are the cutest little ladies you have ever seen! This is the 2nd time I have shot the Mom and she HAS to be the most photogenic person I know! Little baby C was easy peasy! She was so sweet and just smiled and ate a few rocks along the way.
Did you know Sponge Bob lives in my camera!? That’s what we told Big Sister C to get her to look at me! She would look into my lens and say that she totally saw him! So cute!

These are pictures from the 1st of 3 mini sessions. More session sneak peeks to come as I continue to edit this week.

I hope you enjoy these Beth!!

Kristin Tatem Photography

For me, photography started after I was gifted a digital camera. It was love at first sight and I instantly became obsessed with learning photography. I am inspired daily as I look around and see color, light and texture everywhere I go. I don’t think the photographer in me ever shuts off. I am constantly looking at scenes through a viewfinder, even when I don’t have my camera with me. I feel so blessed to live the life that I do. My children are my biggest inspiration and I love being able to capture every moment of their lives in a truly artistic form. I enjoy looking back at their pictures and seeing both their growth as a child and mine as a photographer. I hope to capture these same moments for my clients. My style is simple, fresh and modern. I keep my processing very clean and classic. To contact me, go to my website or email me at kristin@kristintatemphotography.com
